Primary diamonds are generally kimberlite or lamproite which remain inside the rocks deep in the earth and is extracted by mining. Secondry type of diamonds are those which erodes from the rock and are present in the form of marine diamond deposits. Primary diamonds are of more importance then the secondry diamonds.
